Who is responsible

MOG Consultancy SRL (VAT BE 1029.976.088), Rue de l'Etang 45/b/1D, 1040 Etterbeek, Belgium, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For anything privacy-related, email manuel@mogconsultancy.com.

The contact form

When you send the contact form I receive your name, email address, company, phone number (if you give one), the service you're interested in and your message. I use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out that work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

Submissions are stored in HubSpot, my CRM, on its EU-hosted servers. I keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to two years, then delete them. Client records are kept as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.

To keep out spam bots, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automation. This is based on my legitimate interest in protecting the form.

Analytics and cookies

The cookie banner lets you accept or decline Google Analytics and HubSpot separately. If you accept Google Analytics, it's used to measure visits — which pages and sections are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether they send an enquiry. Google Analytics then sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years. It's based on your consent, and you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

If you accept HubSpot, the site loads HubSpot's tracking code. HubSpot is the CRM where contact form enquiries are stored. It records which pages you visit and when, using cookies named __hstc and hubspotutk (kept for six months), __hssc (30 minutes) and __hssrc (until you close your browser). If you then send the contact form, your enquiry is linked to those visits, so I can see what you read before getting in touch. This is also based on your consent and stops when you withdraw it, at which point the HubSpot cookies are deleted.

If you decline Google Analytics, no analytics cookies are set. If you decline HubSpot, its tracking code isn't loaded. Google may still receive anonymous, cookieless signals (such as a page view without any identifier) so overall visit counts stay roughly accurate. Google Analytics data is kept for two months, after which detailed records are deleted.

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so you aren't asked on every visit. After six months you're asked again.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Transfers outside the EU

Google, HubSpot, Cloudflare and Vercel are US-based companies and may process data outside the EU. They're covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email manuel@mogconsultancy.com and I'll respond within a month.

You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
